yeah, 'tis on the dull side unfortunately. I don't think the totally stripped back approach is working for him, or at least the would-be psych elements could do with a little more panache, idk it feels disappointingly safe so far

Agreed about it being unmemorable and lacking both the edge of the ooz and the spacey tripped out after glow of his debut (which is really what I look for from him personally) but I could see it growing on me as a pleasant background listen
