I thought it meant peculiar and unexpected but in like, a whimsical, lighthearted way

But then u go and use "plinky plonk" right after I think I'm starting to get what you mean and now I just think ur retarded again

This dragged a bit as a whole but the best cuts were lovely and she played with her vocal stylings just enough to make up for how much her arrangements leave on simple arpeggios. Nice stuff

Yeah there are a couple tracks that just dont match the charisma of the highlights and they are a bit of a drag

this does get a bit 'Kate Bush at her most bland/'Enya cruise control setting' at times (check the snoresome title track), whatever, my opinion on this one
'Citizen' wasn't perfect but it was a bit more distinct in the ol' melody department than this. The little instrumentals are well done - they're more enjoyable than the long songs with vocals a lot of the time.

I like first two tracks and also the last one, plus the two instrumentals 'Drosera' and 'Owls' are really really good for changing things up/pacing.
Rest is all good but doesn't make a huge impression

I hadn't spotted that's where that bit came from - the outro
Heard that a lot of times
Santander the only bank I have any fondness for, helped staircase the wife's mortgage of her old flat on the cheap big time - I swear they saved us £50,000+ without quite realising what they were doing. Literally the only time I've had any positivity from an interaction with a bank.

That’s like me with Virgin doof mate. Moved to a much bigger place and Christ knows how. Fucking mental until Dickie B carks it and I lose the lot.
On another note what do you think of them HSBC ads that try and be all ‘inclusive’ and ‘humane’
Grips my shit every time I see one of them posters.

They're the most evil bastards of the lot HSBC - of course they'll have the most 'humane' adverts, they're all 'people persons' working there I'm sure

I’m still with Halifax almost entirely off the back of Howard, he who gives you extra
|

Would’ve spent millions on that campaign. Absolute fucking madness. Thick as pig shit unless whoever did the ads is proper taking the piss.
|

And I’m not talking about Howard

Some nice moments, but it's a far cry from Aventine and Citizen imo (a 5 and a 4.5 respectively)
