Ok this grew on me a bit, the second half contains some pretty good tunes. Definitely more than a 2.5.

Ok, the second half is indeed what's keeping the whole thing afloat. Children of the Sky has a nice lead melody and I'm impressed by the seamless key change in Gravity, it works perfectly. I'm feeling a strong 3 which might turn into a 3.5 in the future.

Yeah, this album basically contains lesser versions of songs that the band already wrote in the past (Century/Tao era).

didn't notice, don't care for the most part but Conrad does sound really rough on a couple of these songs, it took me out of "Don't Look Down" a lil bit

Conrad has never been a good singer and he's getting worse and worse. This album has its good moments (gravity, children of the sky), but all in all, I'm not expecting anything stellar from the new one.

truly crazy stuff lol. 22 tracks of them just doing whatever the fuck. there's an 11 minute track in the middle that's like Mountain Battle Song on steroids
they were in their bag on this one easily their best since Lost Songs
