Tech death isn't normally in my mix anymore but this is insane and it leaves me wanting to find more like it

Instrumental version of this would be sick, they should do that

The only one I come back to is Dualis Flamel tbh, it's crazy how many solos are in that song alone

The riffs on this thing and basically any of the riffs these dudes write in their other bands are guitar solos on the low 3 strings

I really loved it first listen but I'll admit the replay value isn't all that great. I still jam a track here and there but quickly find myself going back to Augury or Beyond Creation when I'm in the mood for this sort of thing

I haven’t heard Augury but this blows Beyond Creation out of the water

i don't listen often but always liked Beyond Creation's debut album. reminds me of a proggy The Black Dahlia Murder at times

I’ve given Augury a glance quite a few times but never took the plunge, probably will very soon.

Also I find it very humorous that all this band’s lyrics are the plot of Fullmetal Alchemist

oh damn lol i'm going to have to listen

"Boiser: Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is my favorite anime series and something that I’ve always had a deep connection to. When Nick approached me about going the band, I was excited to hear that I had free reign over the lyrical subject matter. I almost immediately selected this as a topic."

Fragmentary Evidence is the GOAT of this sort of thing imo. Definitely worth a listen. It's never left rotation for me. The new one is pretty awesome as well

Agreed about FE being the top gun, but the last Beyond Creation album was incredible

I have a hard time believing Augury will top Spawn of Possession’s latter two albums for me but I’m looking forward to it regardless

To me Augury and Spawn of Possession are doing two totally different things. Both rule though. I've only heard Beyond Creations debut so I'll have to get on the new one. Augury was the first band I saw live but I was bummed because Forest left for Beyond Creation like a week before that show. The replacement killer it though so it's alright
