I don't like it less because of the production tbh, for me it's just missing that extra punch in some songs... Weird to say cause this is also pretty hard hitting.
Maybe I rated too soon, gonna give this another spin tonight.

If the debut is better than this, I might be turning into a fanboy real quick
And this felt like it carried a lot of weight for me. It's that variety of post-hardcore that isn't quite so spastic or otherwise fast-tempo (your A Lot Like Birds & Hail the Sun's of the world), rather concentrating on more elongated, sweeping musical numbers. It's a pretty awesome presentation and one you don't get too too often.

They have the trifecta - good songwriting, great energy live and also kickass performances at every instrument
Definitely cool to see Will go from a good singer who had decent energy live to absolutely commanding every stage I've seen him on recently. Excited for them

Jesus, never heard of these guys before 2 minutes ago seeing this review, beginning album now. I like where this is heading. Big fan of his vocals, they maybe stand out the most for me after a few songs.
