Nothing on here as remotely compelling as Empire Ants for me. Still this doesn't really have any major lows. But no highs either.

Humility, Tranz, Sorcererz & Zurich are the clear highlights to me, with Kansas & Magic City not too far behind
I do like Hollywood but of all the songs here that one screams "Humanz outtake" the loudest

As a huge New Order fan, Tranz sounds like something from Technique, but with D on vox
Hence, I love the fuck out of it

Will never understand the hatred for Humanz. Who cares if half of it blows when it has highlights like "Saturns Bars" and "The Apprentice" etc. There's like 5 songs on that album better than anything here

Well it's a tall order to eclipse the best Gorillaz song, possibly the best song Albarn has recorded in any band.

Once again, everything sounds rushed or less thought-through than their earlier efforts. Don't particularly like them anymore sadly. They miss that spark, energy, and FUN they used to have

Sometimes I feel like I haven't really loved this band since like the mid-00s but they'll pull out something like "Humility" or "Sleeping Powder" & really get me goin again

Yeah, I feel the same, but it is so frustrating knowing that they can write great music but keep releasing all this mediocre crap.
Maybe that's why I'm so harsh on them: I know they can do so much better
