For real though, LP crafted a genuinely experimental/engaging concept album. I love the inclusion of the interludes, how the singles/well known tracks are kickass, and it has some of their heaviest songs ever. The final track sums ties it all together into one beautiful album

I'll probably review A Thousand Suns sometime soon. Nine Inch Nails were a big influence on LP and that album is where they showcased it.

I'd like to say yes as I love the album, but in truth all the songs are pretty different. You should definitely find at least one other song that you love as they all carry a similar theme/vibe.
As with most people you'll probably come out either thinking it's a masterpiece or a complete mess, but it's worth a listen as it's certainly interesting either way.

Similar to this album, ATS is extremely polarizing. LP toyed with a different concept and sound altogether. It wasn't necessarily bad, but extremely different. It was flawed, given it was their first outing with the style, but it was interesting of itself. The originality and creativity displayed within ATS makes it work a listen regardless.
