Let's take bets on when the next LP will drop. Or if there will ever be one.

Honestly, this is exactly the album I had in mind when daydreaming about a new Glassjaw album. Anyone who was expecting another Worship or Everything You Wanted To Know, while yeah we all know those albums are fucking excellent, was the textbook definition of living in the past. But in a way, you got what you wanted anyway, didn't you?

Heaviness? This album has it in spades, the guitars grimy enough to make Stuck Pig, Motel of The White Locust and You Think You're John Lennon sound like Mumford And Sons in comparison. The emotive vocals and experimentation? Cut And Run, Closer and My Conscience Weighs A Ton have some of Daryl's most passionate performances, while cuts like Golgotha and Pompeii have that unorthodox presentation. Hell, Coloring Book is one of my favorites, and Strange Hours gives a perfect nod to that.

This album is like being thrown into a jet turbine.

Glassjaw kills people still.

only real complaint i have so far is that the album ends way too abruptly. they closer track seems really out of place. could've honestly gone another 2-3 songs.

I gotta listen to this more to give a rating, but so far it's awesome. This might have the best bass tone on an album I've heard in a looong time

One of my biggest issues with Worship and Tribute is the awful pacing and lack of consistency throughout the album. Judging by your review, it looks like this album doesn't have that problem.

wish cut and run went on longer, sounds like the song ended just as it was picking up steam, also same with strange hours

i'm just not fan of a lot of the songwriting choices on w&t, and a lot of the "huge" chorus's they try to pull off just don't work for me.

still a great album, i'd just take their first album and ep's over it any day.

really excited to jam this
