Why did you give it a 1/5 if you can take at least SOME enjoyment from it? Doesn't really justify your rating, in my opinion.

can someone let me in on the thing with this or just explain the inherent appeal because i don't get it and while this review is very pristine and descriptive, i still don't fking get this at all

ok

a second listen made me realize; this sounds really good and pleasant and i can actually actively listen to this and appreciate the nuance and indulge in the some of these droney textures BUT

i still question the creative process and the actual process of making an album like this. while it sounds really good; it still feels lazy. what i originally thought and have been saying since i first checked this was 'it sounds like paulstretched strings with a low bitrate drumbeat driving them'. this sorta still applies. i'm just curious about the process and how dude makes this stuff

this was a stepping stone into stuff like Tim Hecker for me and while i do probably prefer albums like Ravedeath, 1972 this is still lovely. appreciate the bump from a 1 to a 1.5 though hahahah
