This album is okay tho. Feels like I would have loved this 6 years ago.

Gotta admit, when they wanna be catchy they don't disappoint.

The lyrics really bring me back to those awkward phases in high school.

The first 6 songs on this record are awesome

The final 5 songs fade terrible

Their albums have gotten progressively worse over time

I hate to say it, but it's true.

Hopefully their next record can be more like Incomparable or self-titled.

I Can't Breathe = amazing, though.

I agree with person above -> this album goes on a downward spiral following My Heart Is Crushable. Disappointing, they're capable of better things.

To say this is better than their debut or Incomparable is like saying Coda is better than Houses of the Holy.

The only bad song on the back end of the album is the closing track, and it wouldn't have been bad if they didn't get that completely unfitting vocalist to feature.

Listening to this now. I'm amazed how they can actually pull of the boy band choruses along with the metalcore sound.

They're a good band, really are. Probably my least favorite album by them, but still has some awesome tracks on it

I Can't Breathe is fucking EPIC

Great job on the review Snide! I agree on pretty much all of your points. I'm new to this band and have checked out their entire discography over the past week or so. This album is by far my favorite. Production is great, songs are incredibly catchy and it's a great balance of heavy, cleans, synth, etc. I Can't Breathe is definitely the highlight. I do see what others are saying about the first half of the album being stronger than the rest, although it's all pretty good. The second to last song is pretty cheesy though and the very last song with that guest vocalist totally blows.

At the bottom of the review there's a question asking if the review was written well, just hit yes to give a pos

Good record, but it's not Incomparable

I love the Tommy Korberg track to end the record. Nice little cut. Tommy is a good kid with a good voice.

Tommy Korberg on the last track on this record is truly a blessing. Tommy Korber is such a good kid, a great vocalist with unbelievable range. This song basically changed Dead by April from a good band to the most popular, vigilant band of the last 20-25 years. Thank you Tommy Korberg.
