I really hate this band, but they used to be one of my favorites so I have to listen to this. Damnit. Good review, bro

hope this is good. haven't enjoyed a korn record since the s/t, though brian's Love & Death debut was pretty shweet. even if PS was messy, at least he steered the band away from TPoT p2

Great review and great album. Pretty much echoes my feelings. It sounds like they collectively took everything they've learned in the past 10+ years and applied the best parts to the Untouchables template.

"Black is the Soul", "The Hating", "Everything Falls Apart", and "Die Yet Another Night" are my highlights so far. The copy I got doesn't have "Out of You", but I'm looking forward to hearing it eventually. "Please Come for Me" is a good song, but it's not a great closer.

This makes my inner 15 year old happy. It's the album I wanted Untouchables to be when it was released.

I think I've settled on Black is the Soul being my favorite song on the album, but there are definitely a lot of other highlights. It turns out the promo I received has all of the bonus tracks, but I didn't know that when I wrote the review. "Out of You" is a much better closer than Please Come For Me.

I remember liking Untouchables, but I know nobody else did. Think that was the last one I truly enjoyed by these guys.

"Love & Death debut was pretty shwee"

Sure is, surprisingly. I put off listening to it for ages because I though it'd be really average at best but it's a damn fine album.

@Willie, that's good to hear! I'll have to wait for them to release that track. I'm hoping it's easier to get a hold of than some of the bonus tracks from TPS, when that was released. How are the other bonus tracks? I hear a lot of people liked "Baby."

All of the songs are really good. The only one I didn't really get into is "Take Me", which is why I think it's weird that it was one of the release songs.

Yeah, "Take Me" feels like "Never, Never", but with more traditional Korn guitars. It's not bad, but it seems out of place.

I'm glad to hear "Take Me" is the low point of the album.

Didn't think I'd actually read a review for a korn record from start to finish, but this was pretty great. Mindpos, Willie.

But Яeally, i think it might be woЯth while to give this Яecord a shot. FЯom what I've heaЯd, the singles weЯe pЯomising. My only gЯipe is the teЯЯible lyЯics. Jonathan Davis needs to get his fucking mind out of high school, he's in his 40's and sounds Яetarded.
