Turns out its split into parts, thought it was just continuous.

Still kinda seems like the people least happy with this are the old die hard Insomnium fans.

AtWW will be almost impossible to beat, but after that, I'm with Willie, One for Sorrow and Shadow are 2 and 3 for me. And he loves this so I'll probably love it.

One more day!

Also, Willie throws sub 3.5 ratings at metal albums all day long, so for him to 4.3 this actually has me pumped af.

It is continuous. Where did you steal it from?

It's my number 2 album of the year after Fates Warning, actually. I really like how they did this.

Stole it from psychocydd. It's 7 separate tracks rather than one single track. Had it on while browsing there, seemed good.

Faaaak I can't believe this and the new Alcest drop within 7 days of each other!

It is good, but the official release is one track. If you have a player that can do gapless playback, I guess it doesn't matter.

This is most triumphant. It soars to Amon Amarthian levels of bombast. I love it.

"I'm gonna jam it after work tonight. I really hope all these jokesters in the thread are wrong."

haha, nobody has even given it an average or bad score yet. just because some of us weren't blown away doesn't mean it's not good

At the end of the day, Winter’s Gate is entirely enjoyable throughout – nothing is even close to being poorly written or executed – it is just that there are almost no moments in the entire 40 minutes that I would call exceptional, where the band went above and beyond to craft something truly memorable.

i would agree with that statement. at least after my first listen that is

pretty sure on the CD it's one continuous track but the digital (iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, etc.) release has it split up into 7 sections
