Damn, this might end being better than Sunbather.

Best album of the year so far.

is it just me or is this stream super awkward. like it pulls up a whole other window for each song and you can only listen to one song at a time. only thing keeping me from jamming again

NPR's always been like that. It's pretty awkward, but still, NPR's pretty m/

I think the streams are set up that way because a mjaority of the material they stream are interviews and such dealing with politics, economics, other boring old people NPR material that has other material queued up next.

It would've been nice if the songs had some more circulation, for instance the metal riff in the beginning of Brought To the Water is great, they should have used that as an outro bringing the song full circle instead of the fade into a piano.

I think they were aiming for a more free flowing non-circular songwriting style on this one. The songs here sound a lot less cohesive individually, but put all together they tend to have the same structure

I agree, but I kinda find it lazy and a waste of a good riff to throw something out for a few secs and then never revisit it, especially when it could have made an epic ending.
