I don't see that as an important reason Manos. If you like this album well enough to 5 it, then you should.

It wasn't the musics fault it was not released, If it was released when it should have, who know how it would of turned out, at least we get a clear picture of how the band wanted the music to sound, instead of some label pushing a certain production value to move product, it is what it is and for that it is a 5

could not agree more about the production mostly perfect for this type of music, this is better than the second first daze release, the production is a little too bad

"20 buck spin" doesn't get enough love. Excellent bluesy tune.

Great pick and one of my favorites from this album. The version of Be Forewarned on here is also amazing.

Such a shame that people acknowledge them as a doom metal act. Labeling their music as doom metal simply does not do the band any justice.

well, I think they have some heavy leanings for sure, a good hard rock band I guess, I reference Doom in the review because they are the precursor of what would become doom, just like Sabbath, it is great music regardless of the unfair genres people place on them, I tend to like bands who transcend genres, because there is only really 2 types of music, good music and the other kind
enter the blue light and you'll understand

@wham
My post wasn't a personal "attack", you said it yourself in the review that you don't perceive them as a doom band.
It's just that most people associate these guys strictly as a doom metal act, which doesn't do the band's music justice.
"there is only really 2 types of music, good music and the other kind"
with that i disagree :P
i always believed that there's no such thing as good and bad music, it's all subjective. There are only 2 types of music, mainstream and underground music ;)

I wasn't taking it as an attack at all, just talking, and you should agree with "there is either good music or the other kind", it is a personal preference statement, the music you like and the other kind, those should be the only genres
