he played three songs from wild hunt...two from shallow graves...two from blues. played almost the entire new album and maybe three or four from leaving.

Here is a link to the set list from the other night. Glad to see he is playing The Dreamer live again, as he didn't in his last tour (in Aus anyway), it's easily my fave song of his.

probably going to end up being my favorite album by him. i enjoyed his other three, but they were more inconsistent in terms of quality, and this is the only one so far that has those "holy shit" moments.

according to that setlist "the wild hunt" isn't a solo performance? so it's full band? that would be interestin

Agreed. I'm a huge fan, but both those albums have plenty of those moments for me.

Every one of his album has a holy shit moment. For me, this one's is at the conclusion of the title track where he mutters oh fuck under his breath and the instruments all come in as if to draw the curtains on some type of grand play. I have heard that at least twelve times already, and not once has it passed without me getting a small chill up the back of my spine. I'm not even sure why it affects me that way, but I'm glad it does.
