There's probably enough good stuff on here for me to 5...just some scrappy moments...it's a close thing

Ahah yeah i used to consider 'Pry, To', 'Bugs' and 'Aye Davanita' throwaways myself, but now i think they compliment this album incredibly well. This just doesn't let up from start to finish for me, took me a while but it was impossible not to 5 it eventually.

Some really good ones on here. First three tracks kick some serious ass, awesome way to open a record. Good stuff for sure.

Absolutely buddy, this is a classic. Grows on you slowly after each listen :]

Absolutely, it's crazy how this music works. At first listen (about three weeks ago) I was slightly disappointed and would have rated it 3.5 or so. It has already risen to a damn solid 4 and I still feel it growing. Was the same with VS.

Ahah me too buddy, i think this started out as a 3 for me and it's grown immensely as you can see! In fact, out of the first 3 pearl jam albums, ten probably has the most immediate impact of the bunch but i love vs and vitalogy more (though ten is a 4.5 anyway) ahah. As for this one, definitely my fave PJ.

most interesting pj to listen to, and theres not much to complain about, but its very few flaws are extremely glaring. stupid mop definitely hurts it

I used to think the interlude tracks were pretty boring too but i've come to believe they actually add to the flow of the album extremely well, pry to and aye davanita are so fun :]

i like the interludes actually. but stupid mop isnt an interlude. first off, it closes the album, and secondly, its the longest song on the album

its really the only thing that prevents a 5.

god, why did they make stupid mop?

It was originally a hidden track. Its fucking shit but I've always found it terrifying.

Clay buddy, a 3.5 for this is too low. How many spins did ya give this one?

Plenty. This has some amazing songs but also a few duds for me. I prefer No Code to this actually.

No Code is excellent too, underrated hard and received a lot of backlash because people wanted another ten or vs and instead got a band experimenting and redefining their sound. Turned out fantastic if you ask me. Vitalogy is my fave PJ, though.

Band is so solid tbh, I've listened up to Riot Act and haven't encountered a bad album in my opinion.
