Ha! That's how I sometimes feel about most hair metal.

Haha what?! You guys should give his solo album a spin. If you have a few IQ points to spare.

never really considered motley or gnr hair metal. gnr in particular came off as much more sincere than other la bands at the time.

Guns N' Roses definitely weren't hair metal imo, they were just pure, dirty hard rock (at least in their early days).

Motley Crue were definitely hair metal though, they were one of the leading bands in the LA hair metal scene.

Haha! Contribs must have special powers when it comes to getting people to enjoy music they otherwise hate.

"Hair metal for musicians" is a pretty great way to describe these dudes.

I always loved the winger / metallica beef too, especially when Kip boasted they could play Metallica's songs with their eyes shut and Metallica couldn't hope to play Winger songs.

And he was right. I'm not saying Winger made better music than Metallica, but they were better AT making music.

Also this whole thread brings the feels. < 3

What does that mean?

Also, I'm laid up in bed with a fucked up back so I decided to rewatch Cowboy Bebop. The show is twenty fucking years old! Where did the time go?! Still holds up though...unlike my back.

Winger is a position in football. So is playmaker.

Recentely watched the Finale again (without going through the whole show) and it's just as great as I remembered.

Getting old is weird eh, Dewinged? I still think of 1980 as "twenty years ago"... :o
