i once read a youtube comment saying that disc 2 should be listened to first instead of disc 1 and when i think about it 2 kinda just sounds like one long intro for 1 (the first thing you hear is literally "welcome"), disc 1 feels way more definite and final as if its supposed to act as the real ending. i like to imagine that this is supposed to represent the idea of the feeling of sadness is this universal, never ending thing that comes in waves, or like a circle.
