Come one, everyone. This is one of those bands everyone hypes up. You had to expect the first review to be a 5.

That being said, based on the 4 tracks streamed over the last 2 months, this is definitely not a 5 for me. Actually, "Milk Leg" is only song I truly dig at this point.

Loved Valley of Smoke. If this is cool and jazzy and stuff like that one was, I'm gonna freaking love it.

Valley was better. It's almost like the band were too stoned when making this.

the harsh vocals were a nice change of pace on Valley. this reminds me of Crack the Skye in how the band lightened the sound vocally without losing their creative punch.

This still isn't that good. And yes @cone i find the drummer to be quite dull. Not enyoying his style at all tbh.

Start with pink, crimson.

Also, this album is pretty good but not sure if it's 3.5 or 4. Need to listen more.

This is exactly how I feel. Just because it's your favorite album doesn't mean it's a good starting point. Some albums are more accessible than others. When I recommend music to friends I recommend based on accessibility not their best album. However, some cases the best album is the accessible one.
