Anyone else think that Prodigal Son is a little lackluster?

Nah it's awsome, that final part is shivering.

Sacrimony is probably one of the best songs this band has ever crafted imo.

Well, to me it's not that it ruins the flow, it's just that I expected a little more than what I got. But it's still a good song. Though, Momento Mori is better, you can't deny that.

OK so I can tell this is better than their last couple of albums but I honestly can only remember one song from the album after three listens.

@JS19 This album grows on you, it's not one of those instantly love kind of albums, at least, in most cases.

Of course. It's the most 'single'ish one here. Don't get me wrong I really do like the album, it just seems like Kamelot are so good at melodies it's a shame they don't seem as strong this time round.

That being said it will probably grow on me. Band's a class act.

I think you'll probably enjoy it. It's much darker in atmosphere than any of them but I think it's definitely better than The Fourth legacy and personally I think karma as well but doubt many people think that

4º Poetry for the Poisoned

5º Epica

6º Silverthorn

7º Siege Perilous

It's actually harder than I thought. Apart from The Black Halo, which is the obv #1, the others are all very similar in quallity.

Looks like I should check out their other albums, if I can get past the vocalist changeup.

I've only listened to Black Halo, Epica, Silverthorn, and Ghost Opera. Hoping to get Poetry and Karma when I get the chance. But for right now, Black Halo is number one for me.
