Emotional and raw, and pretty awesome.
Probably wouldn't get anymore Envy as it can be a tad samey in places, but still very goood.

It's their second best imo. It has more screamo elements to it so it's much more raw.

I've only heard this album once, but I loved it when I listened to it. I almost feel like I don't want to hear it again, because the first listen was so intimate and beautiful.

acorn, you're kind of right. Chain Wandering Deeply, Color Of Fetters, and A Will Remains In The Ashes are the only songs that stand out on this for me anymore.
Maybe I've grown more accustomed to their newer material with time, or maybe I just over-listened this. But I'll never forget the first time I heard this and how heavily it hit me.

I must be missing something here. This is pretty good, but not off the walls amazing.

Way, way, way too many clean guitar noodlings that go nowhere. The heavy parts are killer though.

Still need to hear that one as well. I was turned onto these guys through that Jesu/ Envy split which they absolutely stole from Justin Broadrick.
