I prefer Axenrot's style to Lopez's.

What do you enjoy better about Axenrot Jamie?
I've always thought he was robotic and lacked passion compared to ML.

Lol, you clearly haven't heard Heritage, Inbred.
|
| |
I'm not sure exactly what it is but his jazzy style (best heard on Heritage) is more to my liking than Lopez's drumming style. Even when Lopez is playing jazzier stuff like on Ghost Reveries it doesn't do as much for me as Axenrot's playing does.
I think the opposite about Axenrot, nothing about his style is robotic, it's actually more organic. It's all about that loose jazzy groove that Axenrot does so well on Heritage.

Axe is so free flow and off-kilter on Heritage, rules.
