2nd Sucks is the most pretentious song these guys have ever written, even more than If It Means A Lot To You.

"after all, we are all sputnikmusic here, right guys? We’re mean, elitist bastards. We like the stuff no one else likes, and if they do like it, then we hate it."
So true around here!

srsly guys Homesick was a better For Those Who Have Heart.
better production, better breakdowns, better chorusses, more overall catchiness.
they went from melodic hardcore(treason), to metalcore(2 albums) to mainstream pop punk(this). you srsly want me to like and support this direction? 1st day getting balls, 2nd day getting even bigger balls, 3rd day completely cutting them off?
this record feels rushed. it feels uncompleted. the production isn't consistent. not even the songs(!) are consistent (lawl @review). 2nd sucks is pure metalcore while all i want is the cheesiest and most boring of radio pop punk. this record is never in life homesick + 0.5 . if anything related, this would be homesick - 0.5/1.0 .
it's calm, it's soft, it's mainstream, and two of the most 'dark' listeners of sputnik tend to like it on the first page. where the hell is sputnik heading dudes? radioland?
srsly wake up and delete this.
ps: without 2nd sucks & the opener it would be definitely more consistent - yes, but never in life anything less generic nor boring. just wishy-washy pop punk garbage without identity.

Man I'm surprised that opinions are really divided with this album...
For me: FTWHH>ATNWT/Homesick>WSMFY
FTWHH sounds natural, the first listen was like: "Fuck this is awesome hardcore and punk combined!"
ATNWT is a very pleasant start from the band, Homesick (while I agree is more polished and most of the songs are better) contains some that I definitely could be without.

Actually, I gave each song 5 listens once I got my iPod working and I'm extremely satisfied

IMO this is the album Homesick intended to be; the pop-punk sections are easily the catchiest they've ever been, and and the heavier parts have a much more noticeable hardcore vibe to them. Plus the vocals have really improved a lot too.

Well the heavy vocals are a bit lacking imo.

The singer seems tired in this record, vocals sound to forced and raspy. If you can't notice that then listen to their past albums and then listen to this, you'll see and
...heavy vocals are a bit lacking imo.
Seconded

I like what you did with this review. I like a few tracks from the album they did a few albums ago, but mostly they're not my thing.
