in that case i'd say either is fine. the only drawback to getting this is the songs arent in the context of the album (and for people like me, crooked rain crooked rain doesn't have a bad song on it) but if you start here you'd get some of their best songs and a general feel for their sound and how they progressed.

glad you like it! you could check out slanted and enchanted, which is a bit rawer than crooked rain (but i mean its not like its a big jump) or just keep going forward cause wowee zowee and brighten the corners are both amazing as well
