A cracking album, though overshadowed by 'Demanufacture'. I actually don't think this album or 'demanufacture' is better than the other, simply because both albums have an exquisite amount of crunching death metal riffs and metallic velocity. 'Resurrection' serves as my favourite FF song.

I'm on a FF binge and was reminded how much ass this kicks. To me Obsolete probably is their most complete as everything just seems to fall into place. And without a doubt the best production of any FF album. Also some of Dino's most memorable riffs are found here, like Securitron's outro, Descent and Ressurection.
