It's unfortunate that most people who listen to this aren't going to able to get the fact that he killed himself out of their head, because honestly I can see that causing more people to rate it lower than they otherwise might out of fear of giving it props for being posthumous. You know... withholding votes out of fear of appearing to be giving in to any kind of hype. A Sputnik user tradition. Anyhow, to give this any less than an average rating is to completely disregard the music itself and focus perhaps on the awkward vocal moments or strange arrangements of a handful of the songs. Kinda lame... then again, I listen to Hawksley Workman so I guess you have to LIKE quirky vocals and strange composition to dig Yonlu... I thought I'd dislike this because I really never got into lo-fi indie stuff... maybe I'll broaden my horizons a bit. As if there's room in my brain for more music.
