i mean you guys followed me to all the Portugal. The Man reviews just to try and write me off to the community as some sort of imbecile. Can't say I have ever done anything like that to any of you.
but once again i didnt come to this review to argue my points, i came to post my opinions which i have done. so ill stop once again and let cooler heads prevail

still love this shit. it'd be nice if their next album was more lo-fi like this is.

It's kind of sad that this is still the only review of this album...it deserves better than this
|

this is a way better album than you write it up to be. far too harsh. i mean with your rating logic this puts any nickleback album at a negative 2.
you emeritus/staff writers sit on your high horse thinking you're word is law. we all know you got there by sucking each others d***s.

i bought this the day it dropped, but i lost my copy in university. also showed Sugar and Cinnamon to some cute girl and laid her a few hours later. ah, memories.

ahh man, I'm liking this one quite a lot. Trying to familiarize myself with this band's discography before seeing them live and this is my favourite so far. I was surprised to see it with a low average and a brutal review.

Didn't love this one that much but a 1.5 review is ridiculous yeah

totally agree... Bottom half of Portugal's discography, but Shade is amazing.

This review is pretty shitty- seems like the reviewer caught the hype train and was upset with a change in sounds, which I can agree is somewhat acceptable. But this is just a rant with shitty comparisons and feels personal in the worst way.
This album fucking rules. I'd be interested to see if the reviewer's opinion is still the same considering the constant change in style from these guys from album to album, at least earlier in their career. But, I've never seen this user around.
