well for one, Nightmare is awesome - not sure why that album attracts detractors
secondly, and i may be in the minority on this take, but i enjoy the s/t better than this.....at least shadows is singing with a normal voice instead of the atrocious adolescent screaming peppered throughout this era of the band.....well shit, i would even rather listen to HTTK front to back than this front to back because of that alone
like i said, 3 or 4 songs on here that I wouldn't mind if they played them live if i was in attendance, but overall, this ship has sailed a long time ago
this band got better when shadows and syn married those twins lol

titan look up their post-city of evil live performances of these songs... shadows sings all the screaming parts and it is super awesome and honestly better than the album itself

i will do that, i've seen em live a few times over the years and enjoyed everything they played
i cant even watch a video from as late as the s/t period though - they didn't fix it yet at that point - they looked ridiculous
but today, they've matured as a band are a damn good one at that
