Mladic is finally sentenced to life in prison for genocide and crimes against humanity. Fucking cunt.

The last 5 minutes of We Drift Like Worried Fire is pure bliss. Quite possibly the most uplifting portion of any GY!BE song

Jamming this for the first time in years and We Drift Like Worried Fire is still the best song ever.

Am i the only one who feels like Mladic is super overrated. I don't feel like it's better than a single thing pre-hiatus

Mladic could be a bit abrasive or chaotic for your tastes perhaps, but there are so many great riffs/segments that it has to be a highlight in GY!BE's discography. I dunno, the intro might be a bit long, or maybe the middle Eastern sound can be off-putting to some.

That's good to know, but I also hesitate because this is the type of shit I want to listen to without distraction, which is difficult for me especially because their albums are longer.

The first time I threw on Zero Kanada was laying in bed falling asleep and it was heavenly.

I like how the first track gets super aggressive. There's something so punk rock and 'Fuck you' about how chaotic it is and how it slows down to almost sludge rock. There's something very punk about this band.

Mladic is one of their best songs, but the other three tracks aren't nearly as good.

The strictly ambient sections are a bit much for me at points but this is great for zoning out to on trains home late at night

I'm not being negative or anything but I remember when this came out and I was looking forward to it then the arabian riff in Mladic kicked in and then I was like okay this is 2.0 post-rock nevermind.
