Arriving Somewhere is the sole reason why this is my favourite post-Stupid Dream PT album.

Arriving Somewhere solo is by Ã…kerfeldt innit?
And I don't think SW's really underrated, though he makes the most of limited technical ability definitely, and gives the rest of us hope.

"think i like his solo on sound of muzak best, dunno if it makes sense but the notes he doesnt play on that are great"
That solo is both simple and super weird. The notes are easy, but the rhythmic phrasing is all over the place. It's kind of amazing.

His best guitar performance is prob on Staircase Infinities. He also plays some good stuff on Voyage 34.

The thing is he experiments with the guitar a healthy amount and thats really refreshing, plus he has decent technical ability.

Haha not really it's simple yet incredibly effective imo. Is Xanadu by PT? I've only heard IA, this, and The Incident.

Absolutely defo, probs my fave PT song
Xanadu is on Farewell to Kings, if you don't dig so much then try Permanent Waves (sounds more similar to Moving Pictures, and I prefer it tbh)
