That sounds great. It's not one of my favorite songs but I would be stoked to see it live. Sounds nuts.

Everyone went crazy. I think most people there were longtime fans who knew how rare it was for them to play it (there weren't many people there at all), so when they came back and pulled it out, the place went nuts.



It's probably #4 from this album for me (maybe), and it'd be lucky to hit Top 20 out of all their songs, but it was by far the best part of the show.

I actually much prefer most of their later material.

They played plenty from that one--"The Primary Blues," "Mean Shadow," "China White III," "Everybody I Know Has Fangs" and "That's Nasty." It's probably tied for my favorite record, as well. I like it and 'I Am Hollywood' for different reasons; 'It Hates You' is soooooooo damn catchy!



For the curious, aside from those songs and IAH, they also played "The Widow of Magnolia," "The Seduction," "China White," and half of 'Heavy Fruit'.

I wish we would have gotten one more album in this style before they moved on. The vocal melodies on here are so good, like the "I've been receiving, strange phonecalls from the city" from The Seduction. So damn good.
