Sounds like we're getting another Pressure Machine style album according Brandon. Scrapped an album that was pop focused and now doing an EP with them. Thank god, I was fearing they'd be going back to the pop direction. The world wants Pressure Machine LP's, Brandon! Super pumped.
I wasn't really a huge Killers fan prior to Pressure Machine, I knew Hot Fuss and all but never a fanboy. This album put me in that group. Probably the most impactful album I've listened to the last 5-10 years. It just encapsulates everything I love about The Killers in a whole new perspective

I heard their new electronic/pop styled single and it was pretty bad. Happy to hear that they're zeroing in on this type of music instead.

I hate the spoken word intros, especially Cody’s. That’s a great song but it’s hard not to cringe at the beginning

Also no lol this is not “best by a mile” when Hot Fuss exists. Sam’s Town eclipses this pretty hard too

Tempted to revisit this sometime but don't think they'll ever top their debut

Hot Fuss is my 3rd favorite behind this and Sam's Town but it's only barely above Imploding The Mirage

it edges out hot fuss a tad but theyre both fairly inconsistent records. hot fuss loses points for its comically single heavy first half which really hurts its flow as a full body of work. this is really the only time theyve ever gotten it right across a whole record

I just find it more methodical and intricate than hot fuss and Sam’s town. There’s tangible meaning to this album rather than being solid pop rock album like the others
