QOTSA's Like Clockwork is holding down the number one spot pretty hard

Ah yeah that's close for me but I'm going for AM by Arctic Monkeys or The Greatest Generation so far. I really need to jam more NJ outside of this album though which one would you recommend?

I'm very partial to Redeemer and if you're really digging this then I'd say that's the way to go. Check out Meridional as well, but stay the fuck away from Anti-Mother. So bad

I've actually never listened to the Wonder Years but a friend likes them and I keep seeing lyrics from him and they are sweet. That bird is pretty cool too. I'm not too big on AM. It's a huge step up.. Actually, you wrote the first review didn't you?

I've jammed each one except Bless the Martyr a little bit already I was just asking where I should revisist. Tbh I didn't find the Anti-Mother that bad at all, Robots: 3, Humans: 0 is incredigood.

The Wonder Years aren't for everyone but if you enjoy good lyrics and emotion then I dunno why you wouldn't dig them, their stuff is incredibly personal. And yeah, I was the first to AM : )

You changed your avatar and it's throwing me off like crazy

I genuinely do not enjoy a single aspect of Anti-Mother so eh. I definitely think Redeemer is the way to go though.

I'll check out the Wonder Years tonight or tomorrow

Lol you love it

Do you not even like Chino and Cove's guest verses on that album? I thought they were great.

I just don't understand what the hell they were thinking when they made that album. They had the nerve to call it the heaviest thing they had ever made at that point. lol

Oh please. I know who you are negro, we have had loads of conversations. I just associate most people by their avatars so when they go and change them and I get all weirded out as if you just had plastic surgery

Ok yeah that's a stupid claim to make but personally the melodic tendencies are what I like about it, I don't listen to metal all that much so maybe that's just my taste though.

Haha alright cool. Out of curiosity, who were the dudes who do the guest vocals on Firebreather on that DVD?

I hate most metal as well but metalcore like this is more closely aligned with hardcore to my ears.

I honestly have no idea who those guys were. Probably some church boys haha

I listen to a bit of metalcore here and there but it's still not a regular thing so I like it to have prominent clean vocals and not just the skramz, maybe I'm a pussy but eh. That was a freaking cool concert although I wish they'd picked a better setlist

I thought it was a pretty good and varied set list. The only thing it was missing were a couple Identity Crisis tracks like T&C

I reckon they could've picked better tracks from Vheissu, I mean Of Dust and Nations is a great song but not the best from the album by far and Flags of Dawn over one of the actual album tracks is a bit wtf imo. I would've preferred more songs from the actual Alchemy Index, specifically from Air but eh.

Have you noticed that we have a lot of conversations in the early AM that span pages and pages of just the two of us? It's kind of cute

I guess you're right. The performance was so flawless though and they played Daedalus and For Miles :D

It depends on how you look at it, really. It's 1 AM, which is technically morning although I consider it night. Did you say you were from Australia?

I'll give you those favors just because I like giving favors. MEOW
