Definitely underrated. Top 3 for me are s/t (number 1), Dude Ranch and Dogs Eating Dogs — Enema of the State very close behind.

Are you guys deluxe or standard boys? I feel like everybody's always talking about the deluxe has great stuff, but it changes up the runtime and tracklist a little. I guess I just got used to the standard edition, and then didn't really connect with any of the deluxe songs besides that cool interlude, but then again it could go without.

I got into this with the deluxe, so the standard version feels like it's missing tracks.
Just looked at a tracklist and wtf as if snake charmer isn't on the base album

Yeah think I mentioned on here a while back that the standard version is wtf - what were they thinking about leaving off so many good tracks.

Depends on the genre, I don't care for remixes in most industrial metal bands and I don't care for demos either, unless it's something very surprising like the smashing pumpkins.

got standard when it first came out so definitely not deluxe - i actually liked this a lot back in the day, but it meant I wasn't able to see blink's reuninion tour (because they postponed it to finish this)

Aww man that would have been an amazing show. I think I would've have wanted to see them during self titled era. A little more experienced and tighter shows than the ol pop punk days.

yeah for sure - i did end up getting to see them just before i went off to uni but it was the post-tom days so not the same

Yeah rodrigo, I'm not usually a deluxe guy. The only albums that I like that are deluxe just happen to be the versions I hear when they come out, but if a standard is available, then I almost always go with that, especially with old albums.
I just asked that question regarding this album though, because they rereleased it with a changed tracklist order, and some prefer that one.

Well that's still cool. Seeing blink would be worth it just for travis to be honest.

it was still a great night, lot of memories with this band
also after midnight is genuinely one of their top songs

After Midnight was one of the first songs I could kinda play along with on the guitar! Such a great coming of age type of song. It definitely it gets overlooked as one of their best. Also Ghost on the dance floor is incredible.

Great to see the love for After Midnight, best song here imo.

Classic Tom riff.
What I love about this record is how you can really pick which parts on this were Tom and which were Mark. Songs where they've clearly mixed and matched sections work in really satisfying ways
After midnight's one example, kaleidoscope, up all night...

I think I remember reading that they hardly ever recorded this album all together. There was a lot of sending their takes and such. That could explain why it has that feel, and also why the hung it up after this one again.

I can see some viewing that as a downside, but I agree with you. It's cool to clearly hear which ideas were from each member.

How Even If She Falls was never a single, let aone making the album orginally, blows my mind.

Does this sound anything like any of the albums that preceded it? If this is some Yellowcard pop-punk turned boring ass alt-rock shit then I'm not going to bother.
