idk if he ever got involved in the competition but bouncing ball patches are all over monolake records. this one is probably my favorite variation:

ah now that I think about it I do recall a lot of bouncing ball effects on Monolake's late 90s / early 2000s albums. Infinite snow is a good one though, also the first Monolake song I ever heard



and the best thing about this album is that it has the best song of all time on it
