You don't have to listen to all the singles you know? I skip most of them, don't think I've heard a single one of the new record because I rather experience some bands in a full album

I don't do any tbh eheh just discussing why a band would rather cum in the foreplay.

Because they get on Spotify lists this way, and stay relevant hyping up to the album release date. The lead singer of Fit for a King once made a video about it, saying that's why they released four singles and that it actually worked. It's just to make money man, bands desperately need that shit to stay relevant. No exposure, no income, no (professional) music

I’ve heard nothing, so I’m pleased about the decision to hold off. I had plenty of other stuff to check in the meantime. I will be jamming the new one first thing tomorrow morning.

First thoughts on the new one, gang? I'll go; I never realised quite how short this band's songs are! I really noticed it on the new one. It felt a little fragmented and stop-and-start. Hoping the songs will feel more like complete songs on re-listens. I like the increased attention to atmosphere but also feel like nothing really kicked my ass. Definitely some cool ideas here though.

New record is solid. Not really the improvment I was hoping for, but still pretty good.

I like the sound on the new album. About half way through now

I don’t know yet, sounds like the riffs aren’t up to scratch and they took the more simplistic moments (usually complimented by clean vox) from this and tried extrapolating that over an entire album. It’s the same essential ingredients but the balance (and quality) seems off so far.
Having said that I’ve heard it twice, so could be a grower idk.

Collecting my thoughts and preparing a write up, but yeah, definitely not better than Heavy Yoke, or at least less immediate.

Consider my expectations tempered. Heavy Yoke for life.

I'm rather disappointed that the cd isn't in my mailbox yet but hey, it's on spotify.
Definitely a thrashier record, the new one. Some undeniable Absurd² in there.

New one has some great stuff on it but I need more time with it for sure. Rapture Boy rules hard.

The new album is quality stuff. A step above this in my view.

New record is a grower, maybe even more potential than this.
