The first half is a perfect bridge to the second, where it really starts to amp up the intensity. Loic does a phenomenal job throughout and does such a good job adding personality to each track, he really helps in the first half especially.

tbh you're right about the cover. it doesn't have that nature-inspired vibe of the rest -- lava blobs, eroded moon, etc. it just looks like stock artwork, and presages synthesizer-based writing in the worst way.

Ok that was a great song but I actually prefer Atlantic by a mile in the context of the album, even if the former stands out more thanks to female vocs.
All in all I really enjoyed the approach to songwriting they took here. Way more buildup and catharsis than on any other of their albums. I'll need few more listens to get an exact score to award to it but it's shaping somewhere around 4-4.5 quite easily. 'Robin Staps & the Crew'® never disappoint and I'm glad to see their streak continued

yeah, I just want to say the artwork is utter bollocks and the comments surrounding the release are interesting yet somewhat concerning...
