I don't think I'll ever consider this on par with meridional or wrongdoers but we'll see

This one is definitely not quite as immediate as All Hail. I'll have to listen more times through to figure out where it will land. So many layers and some of the songs are quite dense. A lot of musical tangents in this that they really haven't gone down before that once I get more used to will really inform where this ultimately ends up compared to their other releases.

Listening back their old stuff will always be tops yeah. Memphis slaps so god damn hard.

This however I dig way more than All Hail and Polar Similar.

for sure. they needed an album like this to break the formula a bit and stop doubling down on the streamlining of their sound they were doing the whole last 2 albums

It's wild how they're still going this strong and making top tier bangers. Most bands in this genre at this stage in their career either stagnant or just try to get on octane

These guys certainly have an impressive body of work, I just wish I dug their last couple more. Wrongdoers is pretty fuckin awesome though.

I like about 8 of these and 5 are whatever. Not sure how to rate. I like it but don’t love it. Agree with the rest it’s not as immediate.

It's good yeah, this band has been through so many lineup changes it'll make your head spin. Miss the guitarist from polar similar era, hope they can bring him back in the future in some capacity
