Just finished my first listen.
Quality stuff as expected! Initial feeling is that I slightly prefer I Could See Midnight Sky, but I'm giving better than 50% odds that will change, because most of that album took a long time to fully open up for me.

I know my Midnight Sky review says 4.5, but that album became a 5 to me in about one month. I'd still say that one holds a nostalgic edge for me, but I've also been listening to it longer. This one has the edge in musical diversity and emotional urgency (?) with darker lyrical themes abound that are equally as uplifting. I could not possibly choose between the two albums at this moment, aside from each having a slightly different aura (Midnight is more romantic and stargazey, Stories is more about self-realization and human growth). They each fit a mood for me.

This is absolutely fantastic... honestly, I'm thinking of 5'ing it. And considering the last album I 5'd upon release was Terminal Redux by Vektor back in 2016, that's fucking saying something
