What a useless review. The first couple lines show your bias and hate for the band. Why waste your time and the readers time by posting this. Why not leave this album to be reviewed by someone that enjoys this type of music or has enjoyed albums this band has released in the past?

another thing that isn't a great look on Jesper's side is this is the only Papa Roach album they have rated on sputnik.

"Other angst-ridden lowlights include the MGK-esque ‘Unglued’"

that feels like an uncalled for low blow. You ought to be able to listen to MGK and Papa Roach and can hate both but Unglued obviously has better production, execution, and god damn why not include integrity considering it's MGK we are comparing it to.

GAWM and Paramore Sessions still hold up for me but man these guys have made some really bad music in recent years.

I withdrew my previous message. Although I like most of JesperL's reviews, they helped me find a lot of good music. But I dislike the unprofessionalism, ageism and arrogance in this staff review. not Jesper's best take.

Negative reviews are indeed much harder than positive reviews, but I see a lot of negative reviews (even staff ones) on this site that are cathartic and demeaning. They even made me think, "Does writing a review like this give one a sense of superiority?" That's not what I had in mind for a good negative review.

I could certainly be wrong. But even if I'm wrong, I want to express it. It has nothing to do with how this album is. It's only about what a good negative review should look like. Because I think it no longer expresses opinions, but stirs up emotions. I don't think this is a qualified staff review.

(sorry for my shittalking)
