“Definitely preferring The Valley over this. I appreciate the clean sections but it’s a tad too much. Needs more heavy. Shame because Lost Boy was a killer lead single.”

Yeah thought this was just ok. Phil sounds pretty damn good nowadays though I must say as far as clean vocals go.

honestly, i think this is just about perfect. only song i'm slightly not as hot on is actually "A Bloodsoaked Symphony", it's like a follow-up to "Brimstone" musically which was my least favorite on The Valley. still fits, still gets the crowd pumping, but it's probably the least mindblowing cut here. I LOVED "Anticure", "History Is Silent", "To the Wolves" (ESPECIALLY THIS), "Without You/Without Us" is fucking unbelievable, and that closer I expected to be just fully acoustic but the band comes in with this super emotional solo that moved me, much like the solos on other songs here did. this shit is impeccable. it hits me on a level i can't really explain without coming off like i'm a decade younger than i am.

I hardly remember what this band sounds like and I don’t think I liked them much but the art is cool

I haven't jammed anything since A New Era because the self-titled put me off, though my tastes have changed considerably since then - is this really worth checking out? Last I checked they went full Slipknot which is no bueno

Haven't listened to this band in years and never really cared for them, but I must say this is pretty dang solid. Cleans were a pleasant surprise from a band like this

Give this a shot then, it's miles away from Our Endless War which I still enjoyed.

I've seen Whitechapel live 12 times and it was all before they ascended to actually being really good. Their live game always wrecked the studio version. Before the Valley I would never listen to their music. But live...live was a different story, I would always be happy to see them live. Just need to see them live now that they write good studio songs.

Yeah I'd really actually like to see some of these songs at a live show, they'd be killer

Like Ivan's bigot ass could be even a tenth of the clean singer Phil is.

is this an album I as a notorious deathcore disliker will enjoy?
