It's really good, still doesn't quite get to Magic's level but MUCH better than their last album.

The colder the night was pretty good, more chilled but fires is more epic on first spin

Night just couldn't hold my attention. I remember Leaving The Homeland being really good. Fires is solid throughout.
And so is this so far! Production feels a bit off, little too muddy maybe. Like everything is muffled.

i feel like i,voidhanger records take about 2 weeks or so to release on spotify. mare cognitum and spectral lore both took about that much time iirc.

I like this a lot but it needed to be 4 or 5 tracks shorter and the production just isn't working for me. Vocals are kinda meh. Multiple killer riffs. Dude is massively talented.

For me this is near BM perfection. The drumming, synths and vocals are sick and guitar tone is evil af. Could eventually be a 5

Bumped to a 4.5, might 5 this eventually. Such a wild and unpredictable ride. I might end up liking this more than the Dvne album that kick-started my entire metal renaissance.

Also, while I feel like there's a bit too much going on in the artwork, the clown demon thing is genuinely terrifying and also captures the essence of the satanic circus this thing is.

Also, listening to this while watching a severe thunderstorm approach is one of the most riveting experiences I've had in a while

Really wholesome takes Sowing. Maybe take a moment to fly through the rest of the act’s releases- there’s even a couple that haven’t been reviewed yet. I’ll do a few more indi folk releases to keep sput from crashing if you like.

I'm so enamored with this right now. I'll probably check their back catalog in due time.

This dude always lays down great moments, but it never comes together for me into a whole project. This is feeling the same. Gonna stick with Cultes des Ghoules for that nightmare theater bm vibe
Super fitting album art, tbh. Lot of really cool impulses, but tries to cram in so much using a similar color palette that it starts to just look unfocused and kind of goofy

Dk Cultes des Ghoules tbh but the closest comparison I can suggest for this is Limbonic Art
