Hollywood and the first song are bangers, while the excessively sludgey song in the middle drags it a little bit below

but holy hell these were b-sides?? lol

Yeah, I really love the buildup on the first track. That dark ambiance is just beautiful to listen to

"Hollywood and the first song are bangers, while the excessively sludgey song in the middle drags it a little bit below" LMAO I feel quite the opposite. #sputfucks

I usually shit on EP s, except for the year's beginning/ ending. Have to say this and Gatecreeper did the drill pretty well.

If you're into track 1 you should check Inconsolable and Rhea Sylvia EP's from Thou.

That's how it was when I was doing my list... I completely forgot that Marigold by Pinegrove came out in 2020 because it was so early, so I almost forgot to add it

"yeah January discs are doomed for best of lists."

Not really, for me they end up being the most listened, since I do a lot of recap.

Two People tanked the whole year in 2019 without a sweat.

December releases though...

Yeah, that's why I tend to do my list in January or February, so I can finish absorbing those last few releases that come out at the last minute

What the hell, didn't even know about this. Didn't like the LP, so we'll see about this one.

Nah, it's the June releases that are doomed, cause when June rolls around, that's when the summer mood comes in and the only thing coming out my speakers is Sean Paul's Temperature on repeat
