New American Gospel and Ashes of the Wake are solid too, otherwise I agree.

Everything they've done post-Wraith is just them on autopilot.

Never listened to a single thing by these guys, and admittedly I've never wanted to

Go for the remaster tho, the og has muddy sound but the quality of the tracklist pays off big time

IMO they peaked with Ashes of the Wake. Palaces is almost as good as well. Every album after has a great jam or two, though.
Even this one - Resurrection Man is surprisingly reminiscent of their old days.

Production is garbage. Not sure if that's Tidal's fault, Memento Mori sounded like someone was messing with my volume settings.

Some great bits here and there but there's a cohesion that's been missing since Wrath. Maybe if you break this one into 10 individual tracks it rates better with LoG lovers but, as an album, it doesn't feel like the music was written and created around the same time.

new album called Omens is dropping in October, and if nothing else at least the artwork's kinda dope

I would love for just one song on the new album to be a top 10 Lamb of God song. That might be asking too much, but itβs all I want. The best of LoG playlist is π₯ π₯ π₯

I just want them to ditch Josh Wilbur and go back to Machine as producer. don't get me wrong, I like his mix on this album, but they've been working with him since Wrath and they've been going downhill and getting stale.
|
| |
Yeah. Machine was perfect for them and he was also perfect for Armor For Sleep.

Nervermore is their first banger in quite some time, not bad

Memento Mori & Bloodshot Eyes are my favourite from this. Yeah it's a little samey throughout the run-time, but I haven't really listed to much LoG since Sacrament so their sound isn't completely worn out on me.
