“ My guess is he’s a massive addict and this album is the toxic, fractured, all-over-the-place result of substance, ego, and sudden immense success getting to his head”

This album is like a shitty In Utero

Jesus this is bad. What the hell is happening during the chorus of SOS? It sounds like my headphones are malfunctioning

Im sort of feeling a bit easier on this album relistening to it. It's not the worst thing ever but it's still got a lot of baffling decisions

Was really hoping to see the avg dip into the 1’s

This album put me off seeing them live next month. So glad I didn’t buy tickets before this thing dropped

Tbh it’s still worth seeing them.

Caught them during the Boy Who Died Wolf touring cycle, they seriously delivered a show

It would be in the 1's if it had more than 47 ratings

Meh. I saw them three times after Mister Asylum dropped and once after TBWDW and that’s good enough for me. They were awesome live but I’m seeing MCID songs are taking up half the set list now, so that’s a hard pass for me.

Ok that’s fair, those four times easily eclipse what is likely to come these days

Wow this thing has almost zero replay ability. I barely touch it save for ‘Canals’ and ‘Snow White’.

Might even drop rating.

Those two, Arizona, and Tee Grizzley are the only things worth a shit on this record. I don’t even listen to a lot of rap so you know you have a shitty album when a Tee Grizzley feature is a highlight for me

If you told me in 2015 that Highly Suspect would release a record with the only redeemable song being an acoustic cut that Johnny doesn’t even sing on...

I’m not being dramatic when I say this is the biggest fall from grace I’ve ever seen from a band. Mister Asylum was one of my favorite rock albums of the decade.

New single is out and... it's just an Imagine Dragons knock off. Why in god's name you would ever want to knock off Imagine Dragons is beyond me but hey! I'll give the album a chance but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Mister Asylum was a really solid album. Their follow up had higher highs and lower lows for me but it was still great. I don't know what happened to this band but it sucks. My Name Is Human had such a unique sound that they never really followed up on. An entire album in that vein would have been amazing but instead we got this.
