Holyyyy fucckk

7 minutes into Kindred Spirits. Matheos you riff machine.

I love how he comes up with dual guitar parts (even 3 at times), while a lot of bands with two guitarists just double each other

Definitely, Cas. Hope you enjoy even though it's quite different from Awaken the Guardian which I know you love.

Thanks, Titan! What took you so long bro?

Agreed Omair, great points.

I thought Sympathetic Resonance was pretty great.

This easily beats everything prog that was released so far this year. Insane record.

Casavir if you enjoy SR, you will enjoy this. Manos dude it's been harder and harder to find the time to get on here. I look forward to exchanging comments with the 6 of you, because it's a damn shame everyone's not hearing this.

No question this will be my album of the year. The 5 is coming because it's better than most music.

This might grow on me if I stick with it. First listen was kinda iffy, mostly because of the length, but without a doubt these guys know what they're doing and it shows. This isn't really a genre I like either. The vocals aren't quite my cup of tea, but I think that might grow on me too. I'm clicking through the songs here and liking them more than I expected.

Arch is an acquired taste, but his vocals work on these Arch/Matheos albums (granted my ear tends to focus on the instruments more). Was so difficult to get into older Fates because of him though

Curious how the songs would have sounded with Ray's vocals instead

For some reason Arch seems more appropriate here than on the old fw stuff. His vocal harmonies are unique and very well supported by the music. As anything involving Arch it needs a few listens to ge into, though.

Agreed. The song's grown on me Jim's tones keep getting heavier and crunchier, and I love it.

Addicted to the first 6 minutes of Kindred Spirits. Can't get enough

New Fates album next year!!! The man doesn't seem to run out of ideas
