I thought it was great on first spin! It’s definitely much tighter than this and all the better for it. The singles were still some of my favorites but there some album tracks that rivaled them and could become favorites.

"chase me" is a weaker track for me (still good though) but yeah that aside that run is crazy. Actually, I would add "L/R" and "the dealer" while we're at it too... Great album.

Very likely, yes! She has a neat blend of indie pop/rock styles with some unique twists in her vocals and songwriting that make her stand out. This album was very good, if something of a highlights affair, the new one is pretty much great all the way through.

Yeah Phero, "midnight sun" and "trouble" are my two faves. The only tracks I don't loooove are "chase me" (it's very good and catchy but a tad too repetitive) and "company" (this one feels oddly underdeveloped compared to the rest here, not that a stripped down song couldn't work here, it just doesn't really click for me)
