if you're writing a negative review, you have to explain what makes it bad rather than just saying what the vocals do. i could apply the principle you just described to more or less any album. "screaming is bad in this black metal album, the gimmick is overused." "rapping is bad in this hip hop album, the gimmick is overused". i came away from your point confused as to why you felt it was a bad thing and it was about a third of your review - you just didn't convey it very well.
obviously as you can see by my rating i'm in love with this record and i'm interested to see another take on it but i came away from your review a bit perplexed. i'm sure there are points there to take away, you just have to work on how you convey it.

This is a lame comparison and you know it. Obviously I'm not attacking the genre. Pretty sure there's a lot of stuff like this without one-trick-pony vocals in the genre. I think my gripes with this are pretty damn obvious and I don't feel the need to drone on about them. Seems most everyone else understood the criticism plain as day, idk how I could further elucidate on why it's bad.
