I love Gavin Harrison but goddam this is like prog coldplay, and not in a good way.

More energy and variation than the previous one but nothing would please me more than hearing a 4.0 or 4.5 album from them, but something here is missing and has been for quite a while. The louder parts need more grit.

This and Your Wilderness pair together well and easily surpass Magnolia and All The Wars. I’m just always left wanting a bit more though.

New one is a big disappointment. Not sure what they were going for. Was expecting great things with Gavin Harrison well and truly embedded into the band - But kind of sounds bland overall.

Idk, I don't think they sound like Porcupine Tree as much as people like to say they do. I'm not saying the comparison is totally terrible or anything, but eh - I think they're more nuanced than that.
