I've had those same thoughts. On the surface, Yellowcard is a band that I really shouldn't be that infatuated with. They utilize a sound I've long grown out of but the relatability and the emotional pull of Ryan's lyrics and vocals are just special. The music itself is incredibly simple but at the same time, there is this inexplicable depth to it. I can listen to endlessly and still be completely swallowed by it. They were one of the most genuine bands in the industry.

He posted a picture from a studio on his Instagram story captioned something along the lines of 'working on EP 2"! This was like a week or so before warped, so I assume it was more of a writing thing but it makes me happy to know it's safe to expect something new relatively soon.
